Kathmandu, September 9: Former King Gyanendra has expressed deep sorrow over the killings of Gen-Z demonstrators by the government.
“Instead of responding to the genuine demands raised by the Gen-Z generation, killing them is seriously condemnable, former King Gyanendra has stated in a condolence message issued today.
In the message, the former King and also on behalf of all the members of the Royal Family, has expressed heartfelt tribute to those who have been killed by the government using excessive force.
The former King has offered heartfelt condolences to all the members of the bereaved family and also wished for the speedy recovery of those demonstrators who are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
The former King has wished to resolve the problem domestically, ensuring good governance and financial discipline.
The former King has urged not to make the demonstration violent, anarchic, and infiltrated.
