Oli vows to expand scope of corona test

Kathmandu, 25 May : Prime Minister Khadga Oli has vowed to expand the scope of COVID-19 testing to at least two percent of the country’s population.

In an address to the nation this evening, he said that the government is doing its best to prevent and control the spread of coronavirus. “Today we are conducting COVID-19 tests at 20 labs across the country even though we had just one lab facility in the beginning,” he said.

He also shared that the government was working to increase the number of quarantine facilities by utilizing the hotels and public infrastructures which are not being used now.
