Covid-19: Four died, total infected reaches 682

Kathmandu, 25 May: Four persons have died due to the Covid-19 in Nepal reaching total infected cases to 682 by this afternoon, according to the Health Ministry.

One 70 year old male from Bara died on 17 May while undergoing treatment at the National Medical College in Birgunj is confirmed Covid-19 positive.

The Ministry has confirmed that the person died of Covid-19. Today only the report was made public.

The Ministry informed that total 112 persons have recovered their health after Covid-19 infection.

Of late, additional six infected cases have been confirmed. One in Achham, three in Bardiya, one in Parsa and one in Kathmandu are reported Covid-19 positive.

Earlier today, 72 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed.

23 in Bara, 26 in Rautahat, seven in Dailekh, four in Banke three persons each in Kathmandu, Kapilbastu and Dhanusa, two in Saptari and one person in Banke district were reported Covid-19 positive this morning.

Until now 51 thousand 642 testes have been conducted through PCR and 95 thousand 192 tests have been conducted through RDT, the Ministry has confirmed.
