The Thai Embassy in Kathmandu observed its national day on the occasion of the birth anniversary of late King of Thailand BhumibolAdulyadej, 5 December.
BhakavatTansku, Thai ambassador, hosted a hosted a reception on the occasion.
Vice president NanddaBahadur Pun was the chief guest at the event.
The reception was attended by higher government officials, political leaders, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, business community, among others.
Addressing the function, the ambassador recalled historical and diplomatic relations between Nepal and Thailand.
