Thirteen members have been nominated to the Central Committee of the CPN-UML.
Party Secretary Mahesh Basnet said the Standing Committee meeting held on Saturday decided to nominate the 13 members. The Standing Committee approved a proposal put forward by party chair KP Sharma Oli for their nomination to the Central Committee.
The newly nominated Central Committee members are Shrijana Rai, Pushpa KC, Sabitra Aryal, Indu Kaderiya, Sita Pangeni, Sita Adhikari, Dharmanath Prasad Shah, Tejman Kangdawa, Tank Angbuhang, Nabin Rokka, Min Prasad Gurung, Dabal Pandey and Tejendra KC.
Secretary Basnet said other agenda items would be finalised at the next meeting. The UML Standing Committee meeting has now concluded.
