
Kathmandu, October 10: The BP Highway has resumed operation after being blocked by a landslide carrying mud and debris at Pinthali in Roshi Rural Municipality-9, Kavrepalanchok.
The highway, which had been obstructed since last night, reopened to two-way traffic after the landslide debris and mud were cleared.
The District Administration Office, Kavrepalanchok, has urged passengers and drivers travelling along the highway to remain cautious. It has also advised travellers to check road conditions with the local police, by calling the police emergency number 100, or by contacting the District Emergency Operations Centre at 1234 before setting out on their journey.
