Kathmandu, March 16: The Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait has asked Nepali nationals who wish to return home to travel through Saudi Arabia.
In a notice issued today, the embassy said Nepalis living in Kuwait who want to go back to Nepal can apply online for a Saudi visa and travel via Saudi Arabia’s airports. The request comes in view of the present situation developing in the Middle East.
The embassy stated, “Considering the current situation in the Middle East, Nepali citizens who wish to return to Nepal through airports in Saudi Arabia can apply online for a Saudi visa. After obtaining the visa, they can enter Saudi Arabia by road and travel to Nepal through Saudi airports. Therefore, Nepali citizens are requested to apply online for the visa.”
The embassy has urged Nepalis in Kuwait who plan to return home to follow this process and travel through Saudi Arabia.
