Senior communist leader Bhim Rawal defeated

Kathmandu, March 7: In Achham Constituency No. 1, Bharat Kumar Swar of the Nepali Congress has been elected.

He won the election with 10,758 votes. His closest rival, Bhim Bahadur Rawal of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), bagged 10,230 votes only.

Meanwhile, Deepak Saud of the CPN-UML received 7,386 votes, and Om Prakash Rawal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) obtained 1,745 votes.
