India releases Nepali translation of its constitution

New Delhi, Nov 26: India marked its Constitution Day on Wednesday, as it does every year on November 26. On the occasion of the 76th Constitution Day, India released a Nepali translation of its Constitution.

At a special ceremony, Indian President Droupadi Murmu unveiled translated copies of the Constitution in 9 languages, including Nepali. Addressing the event, she said the Constitution has now been translated into Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia, and Assamese.
