Surkhet, Sept 28: Three people were killed in a Force vehicle accident in Salyan. The dead include one woman and two men, according to Ramesh Khatri, spokesperson for the Salyan District Police Office, who said their identities have not yet been confirmed.
The accident occurred around 8:40 am on Sunday when the Force vehicle (Lu 2 Kha 6402) went out of control and plunged about 300 to 400 meters off the Rapti Highway at Chorkhola, Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3, Salyan.
Two women and two men were seriously injured. They were given primary treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, Dang, and then referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment.
The injured include 47-year-old Khagendra KC and 36-year-old Bina KC of Bafikot Rural Municipality-5, Rukum West. They sustained head and multiple body injuries and are reported to be in critical condition.
