
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki will address the nation today. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, she will speak to the nation at 6 PM.
This will be her first address to the nation since taking charge of the interim government formed after the Gen Z movement.
Former Chief Justice Karki was appointed prime minister on September 12. The interim government was formed on the basis of the Gen Z movement that took place on September 8 and 9.
Under her leadership, the interim government has dissolved the House of Representatives and announced elections for March 5. Her cabinet has been expanded for the third time, with its main mandate being to hold elections within six months, by March 5.
