Kathmandu, September 21: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has recommended to President Ram Chandra Paudel the appointment of five more ministers.
Justice Anil Kumar Sinha, former judge of the Supreme Court, and Sangeeta Kaushal Mishra, additional secretary in the Health Ministry, have been recommended for the post of minister.
Similarly, Madan Pariyar has been recommended for the post of Agriculture Minister and Jagdish Kharel for the post of Communications Minister.
Pariyar is the former convener of the State Restructuring Commission.
Jagdish Kharel is a journalist.
Mahabir Pun will be in charge of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. He is the founder of the National Innovation Center. He received the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award for his initiative to provide wireless internet service in rural areas of Nepal.
Earlier, Rameshwar Khanal was appointed as Finance Minister, Kulman Ghising as Energy Minister and Omprakash Aryal as Home Minister.
