Chitwan, Sept 20: Continuous landslides are occurring at Tuin Khola along the Narayangadh–Muglin road section.
Since 6:00 PM on Friday, a dry landslide has been falling non-stop, covering 100 meters of the road.
Police said that efforts to clear the debris since early morning have failed because landslides are still falling.
After it became impossible to clear the road, Chitwan District Traffic Police Office urged travelers to use alternative routes.
Bulldozers are still being used to clear the road, but police said work must be stopped and resumed repeatedly due to continuing landslides.
The obstruction has left vehicles and passengers stranded.
