Kathmandu, September 18: UML’s party secretary and former minister Padma Aryal has written an open letter to Prime Minister Sushila Karki urging her to protect the constitution and the border.
She also called for the preservation of the property secured by history, pointing to the activities after Karki was appointed Prime Minister. Referring to the map of Nepal, she said that the move to remove the modified map from her office has hurt the public trust.
Aryal has claimed that Karki has removed the new modified map of Nepal, which included Nepali territory, Kalapani-Lipulekh-Limpiyuadhura.
The map was introduced after an amendment of the constitution with an all-party consensus in Parliament.
