Oli is out of the NA security

Kathmandu, September 18: Outgoing Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who had gone under the shelter of the Nepal Army security after tendering resignation from the PM’s post, has come out from the NA security.

Oli had resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left Baluwatar, the PM’s official residence, after the Gen Z movement turned violent on September 9. He was under the protection of the army in Shivpuri.

According to security sources, Oli is currently staying in the Gundu area. During the movement, Oli’s private house in Balkot was set on fire.

The party has not given any official information about Oli’s exit from the security of the army. Earlier, former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Jhalanath Khanal and others exited the NA security shelter.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is undergoing treatment at the hospital under the NA security. He was physically attacked during the movement.
