Kathmandu, Sept 15: The government has decided to observe a National Mourning Day on September 17, 2025 or Ashoj 1, 2082. The decision was made at a meeting of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Monday evening.
According to Home, Law, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Om Prakash Aryal, the day will be marked with a public holiday and by lowering the national flag to half-mast.
