Kathmandu, Sept 14: Senior advocate Sabita Bhandari has been appointed as the Attorney General of Nepal. She was appointed by President Ramchandra Paudel on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
Bhandari has become the first woman to hold the post of Attorney General in Nepal. Earlier today, President Paudel accepted the resignation of Attorney General Ramesh Badal.
