Maoist Centre objects to HoR dissolution

Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has objected to the decision to dissolve the current parliament. The objection came from a virtual meeting of the party’s office bearers held on Friday under the chairmanship of party chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”.

President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed Sushila Karki as the prime minister of the interim government.

The Maoist Centre said it strongly disagrees with the decision to dissolve the parliament. “After analyzing the current situation, the meeting concluded that the decision to dissolve the current parliament is against the constitutional system of the country, and our party expresses serious disagreement with it,” the statement read.
