Maoists decide to unite with ‘Biplav’-led CPN

Kathmandu, August 4: The standing committee meeting of the Maoist Center has decided to merge with the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'. The standing committee meeting, which was held for three days at the party's central office, Parisdanda, agreed to merge with the CPN.
Informing about the decision after the conclusion of the standing committee meeting, spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota, who is also the Vice Chairman, informed that it has been decided to unite with the Biplav-led CPN.
 “It has been decided to unite with the Biplav-led CPN," he said. "Unification will take place soon. We will also form a negotiation committee for party unification soon."
