BABBLES

Balen was elected the Mayor of Kathmandu. He was an independent candidate contesting the election. Since he assumed office, he tried to do many creative works but the political parties, say, NC and UML, have performed non-cooperation with Balen. The Metropolis Assembly was adjourned and it has not been resumed. Meanwhile, the Metropolis is unable to pass the budget for the new fiscal year. It happened due to the non-cooperation of the big parties. Perhaps, the Kathmanuties should come to support Balen in favour of his honest works.
Meanwhile, lately, Balen is blamed for turning the Metropolis into a prostitution center as he decided to shut down the footpath markets. Weren’t there other alternatives except for choosing the prostitution profession? Eventually, weren’t there prostitution centers running in Kathmandu earlier?
Nothing should be free of cost
If the government or local bodies start providing free service, the value of the service will decline. Therefore, some charges should be taken from those who can pay and provide support to those poor people who are unable to pay.
Bechan Jha and government change
Now, the debates are on about the change in the government, which is related to Bechen Jha’s arrest in the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal. Jha seems to have good relations with the cabinet members and coordinates very efficiently. When Jha was arrested, NC and UML’s senior leaders worried about the possible exposure of their involvement in the scandal, they decided to topple the government, and a section of people debate. Be that as it may, the new government also is not as clean as expected.

The saying that “a dog lifted by someone does not kill a deer” can be seen by looking at the various Madhesi parties in Madhes. What is more interesting is that all the Madhesi parties have removed the word ‘Madhesi’ from their names. India deals politically only with the mainstream parties of Nepal.

A caretaker PM with 32 seats says – he will not resign. The home minister of twenty-one seats says – he would support the PM. The general secretary of ten seats proudly says – his party is PM Dahal’s defense shield. Even Deuba and Oli are not at this level of political immorality.

If Nepal-India mandatory or free visas were implemented, at least the Nepali security personnel could know details about the person who disappeared by deceiving Rs 200 billion from the cooperatives. The security personnel could know from which border point and when the person fled to India! Why the authorities don’t regulate Nepal-India borders?

There are no regressive or progressive! They are all for power and strength. Who can meet anyone at midnight, at any hour of the day? Let’s leave the issue of regression. Now let’s talk about power!
