Kathmandu, 18 November: Folk singer and UML leader Komal Oli has been bereaved of her mother, Deepa Oli.
Deepa, 82, died at the Alka Hospital on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment there.
Deepa was a folk songwriter and folk song collector. Komal’s famous song “Malmalkiri Junkiri” was penned by Deepa.
Deepa has been bereaved by her husband, two sons, and two daughters.
