Kathmandu, 10 November: Journalist Saroj Raj Adhikari has been found dead in a hotel in Kathmandu, police said. Superintendent of Police (SP) Dineshraj Mainali District Police Range Kathmandu said that the journalist Adhikari was found hanging from a ceiling fan of Siddharth Hotel in Sundhara, Kathmandu.
His wife had filed a complaint with the police after Adhikari did not return home since Monday. The police tracked down his mobile phone and was able to locate him at the hotel. Investigation into the incident is underway. Adhikari worked for Kantipur, Naya Patrika and Nepal Live. He has also published books including Jasusiko Jalo (Cobweb of spies), Dhamboji and Nora.
