Kathmandu, 27 August: NC leader Dr Sekhar Koirala has said that his party will not accept the decision of the five-party alliance if it doesn’t provide a minimum of 100 seats for the party on the 20 November election.
Koirala said that the present compulsion is to go to the election through an alliance but the seat number cannot be reduced from 100. NC is not weak and can face the election alone, he said and added that alliance has become a compulsion for the party.
Speaking at an instruction programme at Sundar Haraicha, No 6 electoral constituency in Morang, Koirala said that NC candidates cannot quit their constituency for other party’s candidates. He said that the seat should be allotted based on the party’s organizational position and the possibility of victory in the 20 November election.
