Sharma reappointed to fulfill Dauba-Dahal’s ulterior motives

Kathmandu, 1 August: Janardhan Sharma, a weak and incompetent Maoist leader, has been returned to the  Ministry of Finance to fulfil the ulterior motives of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Deuba-Dahal brought him to the ministry to finish the unfinished “work” that had been carried out in the “setting”. The economy, which has become crisis-prone during Sharma’s one-year tenure, has become more vulnerable with his return.

Even Sharma was not convinced that he would return to the ministry so soon. With the formation of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee, Sharma, who resigned 25 days ago had told his close employees, “I will be cleared but there is no possibility of coming back. I will be the party’s General Secretary and will contest in the elections.”

Congress and Maoist leaders are clear that Deuba and Dahal have returned Sharma to the Ministry of Finance to fulfill their interests. “Our president has instigated Sharma that you should be the finance minister again,” claims a Maoist leader. According to him, Dahal has also promised to counter the allegations against Sharma, reports Kantipur daily.
