NCP Mashal, in a press release, has stated that the cancellation of the Arun 3 project by the World Bank has saved the nation from imperialists and their puppets. “World Bank has come to an end and we would not be suffocating from their pressure any longer. In fact, this dismissal of the project has become great deep for the sake of the country” it is stated in the press release. Moreover, the party has criticized that the present government agreement seems insufficient to meet the imperialist interest and demand thought the government was treading on nations self. As a result World Bank decisively cancelled the project. NC and PRP have been shouting aloud that cancellation of the project as being against the country. They are charging the government for this mishap and on the basis of this cancellation, they have been trying to draw the people’s favour towards them for the coming mid-term poll. It clarifies that NC and RPP were highly supporting the project, which was against the country’s benefit. So protest against the UML government is inspired and directed by imperialists and is not in favour of the country, people and nationality.
