Kathmandu, 16 November: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that a total of 416 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the country in the country on Monday. The new cases were detected from 12,402 sample tests conducted the same day while 270 Covid infected patients got rid of the virus.
So far, the total number of recovered patients is 798,544. The recovery rate is 97.7 percent. Currently, Lalitpur is the only district with more than 500 active cases of coronavirus while 11 districts including Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Dhanusha, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Nawalparasi Purba, Rupandehi, Banke and Kailali have 200 plus active cases of the virus. With the death of a person on Monday, a total of 11,478 persons have succumbed to the deadly virus across the nation so far.
