PM’s effigy burnt in protest of fuel price hike

Kathmandu, 11 November:All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), a student organization of the main opposition party CPN-UML, has staged a protest against the increase in the price of petroleum products. Students demonstrate outside Ratnarajya Laxmi Campus (RR) at Exhibition Road carrying placards with slogans such as “We don’t know profit and loss, we don’t consider price increase”. They have also burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
