Dahal briefs his camp, refutes of reaching any deal

Kathmandu, 19 July : The Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP)Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that he has not reached any agreement with Prime Minister Khadga Oli.

While briefing senior leaders Jhala Nath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, CPN Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha and standing committee members of his camp at his residence in Khumaltar this morning, Dahal complained that an issue that has not been agreed has been publicized as an agreement.

Dahal clearly stated that he did not accept the unilateral proposal of Oli and it is a ploy to defame and weaken him. The remaining works of party unification is incomplete and against such background it is impossible to convene general convention of in November/December. ‘It’s a design to spoil atmosphere for talks, I ‘ll not go against your will and sentiment,’ Dahal is quoted as saying in media.
