Kathmandu, 21 May : Nepal has reported the third death due to COVID-19. A 41-year-old male patient from Madane Rural Municipality-6, Purkot, Gulmi succumbed to deadly virus this morning , according to Dr Umashankar Prasad Chaudhary, Chief at the Hospital Development and Medical Services Division at the Ministry of Social Development of Province 5.
The Ministry of Health and Population is yet to announce his death. It is expected that the ministry will make it public at the regular press conference at 4:15 pm.
Prior to confirmation of the death of this patient by Dr Chaudhary, former Minister for Labour Gokarna Bista had taken to twitter to pay his tributes to the deceased teacher at a local school in Gulmi and later he removed his post of obituary.
