Kathmandu, 28 December: Laxmi Bank Limited has partnered with CellPay, an NRB licensed payment service provider, to promote digital payment services in Nepal to all its customers. The partnership agreement has been signed between the bank’s chief technical officer Jiban Prakash Limbuand and Managing Director of Cellcom Pvt Ltd, Pawan Pradhan.
Customers of Laxmi Bank will be receiving Rs. 100 mobile top-up once they link their bank account in CellPay app as well as attractive loyalty points once they start using CellPay to pay their bills.
Cellpay provides digital payments and fund transfer services through web and mobile channel to help make payments directly from the bank account. Cellpay is developed considering various international standards security mechanism to make the payment safe and reliable. The payment done through Celllpay is made in Real Time. Customers can easily make real time payments for Telecom Services, Electricity, T.V., Internet Payments, Restaurants and Fund Transfer from one to another Bank, Domestic remittance, P2P, P2B, B2P, B2B and other services. Customers can enjoy these services through any of the partnered bank with CellPay. CellPay app is available in both Google Playstore and Apple Appstore.
