Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri becomes Global IME Bank’s CEO

Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri has assumed office as the new CEO of the Global IME Bank Ltd. The Bank, after merger with the Janata Bank, has started integrated banking service since 6 December.
Chhetri, new CEO of the Bank holds above three decades long experiences in the banking sector. Chhetri was the CEO of the Janata Bank since 14 April, 2017. Earlier, he was the CEO of the Bank of Asia and Grand Bank.
Beginning his banking career from the Nepal Rastra Bank, he worked as the team member of the financial reformation programme in the Nepal Rastra Bank.
After the merger, the Bank’s primary capital fund has reached at 24 billion rupees along with total deposit of 213 billion rupees and total loan of 194 billion rupees.
Accordingly, the Bank has made its reach in all 77 districts of the country with its 259 branches.
