Kathmandu, 25 October: Prime Minsiter Khagda Oli has been dragged into controversy as he took his wife Radhika Shakya to a confidential meeting on Wednesday. Kantipur daily has published a news report along with a picture where Oli’s wife and other members of Council of Ministers are depicted.
Oli has been badly criticized for this and former Chief Secretaries have opposed to the idea of taking wife to an Action Room of the Cabinet. They have said that no wives of any high dignitaries are entitled to enter into a meeting unless they hold appropriate public position
