Despite public criticism and protest, the government has initiated a process to purchase the luxurious vehicles for the President. It had opened an LC to purchase vehicles of Toyota Company.
However, the government has planned to purchase three highlanders instead of the expensive limousine car as proposed earlier.
One of the three vehicles will be bullet-proof and two others will be luxurious motors.
The government is planning to purchase the vehicles from a Thailan- based company totally ignoring the public sentiments.
