Twenty leaders of the three Rastriya Prajatantra Parties (RPPs) recently urged their leadership to unify the parties at the earliest.
Issuing a joint statement on Sunday, they said that the leaders and workers of all level of the parties were committed to creating a single party by unifying the Kamal Thapa-led RPP, Pasupati Shamsher Rana-led RPP and Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani-led RPP.
Two weeks ago, the three parties were close to unification, but it could not materialise due to differences on the electoral symbol, party flag and other issues.
Buddi Man Tamang, Tanka Dhakal, Dhawal Shamsher Rana, Dila Nath Giri and other central leaders signed the statement.
