Kathmandu, 18 November: This is the rice processing season in Jhapa. In southern part of the highway, Indian labours have come to harvest rice. From Katihar, Kishangunj in Bihar and Malda and Islampur in West Bangal, labours have arrived in Jhapa to harvest rice.
In Mechinagar area alone, there are around 700 Indian labours working in the rice farms, reports Kantipur daily.
