Kathmandu, 13 October: The then Nepal Police team assigned for investigation on Nirmala Pant murder case are under micro surveillance of the present investigation team.
The investigation team led by AIG Dhiru Basnyat has started investigation on the role and investigation procedures performed by the District Police investigation team. DIG Basnyat’s team has reached Kanchanpur on Friday and started investigation on 26 Police personnel involved in investigation of Nirmala Pant murder case.
DIG Basnayt said to the press in Kanchanpur this morning that if the investigation team is found involved in suspicious activities, they will receive strong punishment, reported Ratopati online portal.
