Kathmandu, Sept 23: The Weather Forecasting Division has warned of heavy, very heavy and extremely heavy rain in parts of Nepal over the next three days.
According to its forecast issued on Wednesday morning, heavy rain is possible at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday night, heavy rain is possible at one or two places across Koshi’s mountain, hill and Tarai areas; Bagmati’s hill and Tarai areas; and the Tarai areas of Gandaki and Lumbini.
On Thursday afternoon, heavy rain is forecast at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki, and at one or two places in Lumbini. One or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati could receive very heavy rain.
Heavy to very heavy rain is possible at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini on Thursday night.
On Friday afternoon, heavy to very heavy rain is possible at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali. One or two places in Gandaki and Lumbini could receive extremely heavy rain.
Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast at a few places across the country on Friday night, with extremely heavy rain again possible at one or two places in Gandaki and Lumbini.
