Kathmandu, Sept 20: Police have seized around 20 quintals of suspected cannabis stored in Phattepur, Dakneshwari Municipality-6, Saptari, and arrested two people.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from the District Police Office, Saptari, searched the homes of Bhola Sada and Mangal Mukhiya. Officers recovered 56 packages of a substance resembling cannabis from Sada’s house and eight from Mukhiya’s, police said.
Both men were taken to the District Police Office along with the seized packages. Further investigation is under way.
