
Kathmandu, Sept. 14: The inaugural session of the Nepali Congress’s 15th General Convention will be held at Tundikhel Open Ground in Kathmandu.
A meeting of the party’s Executive Committee at its central office in Sanepa on Sunday decided to hold the opening ceremony at 1 p.m. on October 2.
In a statement issued after the meeting, General Secretary Pradeep Paudel urged all active party members to participate in the ward-level conventions beginning September 19 to help ensure the general convention is conducted in a grand and orderly manner.
The party has already booked the National Assembly Hall from October 1 to 6 for the closed sessions of the general convention.
