Chitwan, Sept 11: One person died after an electric vehicle caught fire while it was being driven in Chitwan on Friday morning.
The incident occurred near Basantachok in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the car, bearing registration number Bagmati Province 01-030 Cha 5579, caught fire at around 6 am.
Police, with the help of firefighters, brought the blaze under control. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established, police said.
Police said an investigation into the incident is underway.
