Kathmandu, Sept 5: Traffic along a section of the Prithvi Highway in Parewabhir, Gajuri Rural Municipality-2, Dhading, will be completely halted for 12 hours today, Saturday.
Traffic on the section has been operating in one direction since the road was damaged by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River on August 26. The District Administration Office, Dhading, has decided to close the road completely from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday to carry out repairs to the damaged section.
According to a notice issued by the District Administration Office, all vehicles except ambulances and hearses will be prohibited from operating during the repair period.
The administration has apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers and drivers and urged travellers to use alternative routes during the closure.
