Kathmandu, August 29: According to Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, China is sending the Nepal government USD 2 million in cash assistance, along with two cargo aircraft carrying relief materials and two teams of tunnel experts.
Earlier, other countries had also pledged to provide assistance to Nepal. India has already sent relief materials and has also said it will provide other necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, the EU has announced to provide 2 million euro as the disaster rescue and relief support.
