Kathmandu, Aug 30: The bodies of 616 people who went missing in the devastating Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa on August 26 have been recovered.
According to Nepal Police, the bodies of 616 missing people had been recovered as of 7 am Saturday.
Of the recovered bodies, 13 were found in Rasuwa, 41 in Nuwakot, 45 in Dhading, 233 in Chitwan, 48 in Gorkha, 31 in Tanahun, 158 in Nawalparasi East and 47 in Nawalparasi West.
Police said 2,301 people have so far been rescued from different locations. Of them, 676 were rescued from Rasuwa, 1,622 from Nuwakot and three from Dhading.
