
Kathmandu, August 11: Global IME Bank Limited has announced a special discount scheme on personal vehicle loans on the occasion of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
Under the special scheme, customers purchasing new vehicles at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 will be able to obtain loans by paying a minimum premium of 0.5 percent over the bank’s base rate.
Accordingly, the minimum interest rate will currently stand at 5.25 percent. The interest rate on the loan will be automatically adjusted in line with changes in the bank’s base rate.
The bank has also introduced a fixed interest rate scheme of 5.99 percent for three years for customers purchasing new electric vehicles (EVs) at the NAIMA Expo. After three years, the interest rate on the loan will be set at the bank’s base rate plus a maximum premium of 2 percent.
Global IME Bank has also set up a stall at the NAIMA Expo where customers interested in purchasing vehicles can initiate the loan process. Customers can apply for loans directly from the bank’s stall at the expo.
Once customers complete the required documentation, the bank will provide a loan approval letter within a maximum of three days for the purchase of the vehicle.
