Kathmandu, 24 May: Maoist leader and murder convict Bal Krishna Dhungel is almost certain to get released on the Republic Day as per a recommendation from the Department of Prison Management under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Dhungel will be granted Presidential pardon.
Nagarik daily has reported that Presidential amnesty will be against the Supreme Court verdict and precedence.
