President Paudel urges Japan to invest in water resources, tourism and agriculture in Nepal

Kathmandu, July 30: The delegation led by Japanese MP and Chairman of the House of Representatives Judicial Affairs Committee, Takewe Arata, paid a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel on Monday.

In the meeting held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas, President Paudel said that Nepal has a suitable environment for investment in sectors such as water resources, tourism and agriculture. He mentioned that the government has recently reformed the law and created a favorable environment for investment and urged the Japanese to invest in Nepal.

President Paudel expressed his gratitude for Japan’s unconditional and selfless support in Nepal mentioning that the relationship between the two countries is close because they have one voice on the international stage even on political issues such as democracy, human rights, and the rule of law, he expressed his gratitude for Japan’s support, especially in the fields of infrastructure, agriculture, and health.

According to the personal secretariat of the President, he expressed satisfaction that Nepali students are serving the country after studying in Japan.
