Landslides sweep two passenger buses with around 50 passengers

Kathmandu, July 12: Two passenger busses with around 50 passengers disappeared after landslides in the early morning today in Chitwan’s Simaltar of the Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-29 in the Narayanghat-Mugling Highway.

The Police have reported that the landslides swept away the buses towards the Narayani River, missing around 50 passengers inside.

The accident occurred at around 3.30 am today.

One bus was bound to Birgunj, whereas, another bus was bound to Gaur.

Likewise, after a big bolder hit a passenger bus, the driver was killed on the spot in the Prithivi Highway.
