
Kathmandu, June 15: A high-level Chinese delegation led by the Vice President of the National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Bater, arrived on a visit to Kathmandu via Qatar on Friday.
The same day, the Chinese leader called on Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav.
Bater, also a central committee member of the Chinese Communist Party, is scheduled to hold high-level meetings during his stay here.
Accordingly, Chinese Foreign Secretary, Qi Yu, is also visiting Kathmandu at the invitation of Nepalese Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.
Also, the Deputy Foreign Minister is visiting Kathmandu soon, according to the Foreign Ministry sources.
Recently, China’s Minister for National Religious and Cultural Affairs Administration, Chen Ruifeng, also visited Nepal. He visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
