
Kathmandu, May 20: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal has bagged a vote of confidence amidst protest from the Nepali Congress MPs from Parliament today.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed that a total of 158 MPs were present during the voting, however, 157 MPs voted for PM Dahal and one MP voted against the PM.
From the ruling alliance, UML, Maoist Center, RSP, Janata Samajwadi Party, Nagarik Unmukti Party and independent MPs voted for PM Dahal.
This is the fourth time taking a vote of confidence since PM Dahal was elected the PM.
