Kathmandu, May 14: President Ramchandra Paudel has presented the policies and programs of the government for the new fiscal year.
President Paudel addressed the joint meeting of both houses this afternoon.
Earlier, the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party meeting had decided to allow the President to present the government’s policies and programs today.
The NC is obstructing the house meeting demanding the formation of a probe committee to investigate the involvement of DPM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the cooperatives fraud case.
NC has said that after the presentation of the policies and programs, again, it will continue to obstruct house meetings.
The policies and programs hold no significance as they are not based on the practical ground.
The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has remarked that there is no any new thing in the government’s policies and programs.
